Missions
Our church strategy for missions is built around four objectives:
-
Praying for Missions by cultivating a concern for people around the world who need a saving relationship with Jesus Christ through corporate and personal intercession.

-
Giving to Missions through regular missions giving and special mission’s emphases. A portion of every dollar we receive goes toward missions.
-
Supporting Missions through our partnerships with other like-minded churches to plant new churches in Michiana, Indiana, and around the world.
-
Going on Missions by sending teams from our church to places, like Haiti, where they can experience missions in first-hand.
Oak Creek has been a part of seeking to start other congregations to reach our area. We have sponsored a Korean church start that currently meets in Granger, an urban church plant meeting on the west side of South Bend, and a church plant in the western region of Michiana.
We give consistently to the Cooperative Program, an association of like-minded churches that are reaching out in North America and internationally with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We also have direct involvement in Haiti yearly, sending teams of doctors and nurses, builders, and others from Oak Creek who seek to support the mission of the Church in this struggling country.
We take seriously the command of Jesus who said, “Go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19)
