About Pastor Darin Garton

Dr. Darin Garton is the founding pastor of Oak Creek Community Church in Mishawaka, Indiana. He and his wife, Stacy, began the church in their apartment in August of 1992 with three families. The church has now grown to over 100 in attendance each weekend.

Pastor Darin was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He earned a B.A. from the University of Arkansas, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, usually working on household projects. His interests include playing the guitar, collecting CDs, and playing most sports -- especially running, basketball, volleyball and snow skiing.

In addition to his pastorial duties, Darin also is lead guitarist for the Oak Creek Worship Team, our worship team at Oak Creek. Darin and his wife, Stacy, live in Michiana with their three children and enjoy visits from their foster son.
