OC3 Music Ministry

The Oak Creek worship team is privileged to support the rest of the church with songs of praise during worship services. Each week the music team of instrumentalists and vocalists leads the congregation to focus on the Lord, consider His greatness and offer their lives in service to Him. Opinions about the style of music that is best for the church vary widely. Some churches sing traditional hymns, while others enjoy singing contemporary choruses. Some attempt to blend the two. At Oak Creek, while we appreciate the music that the church has sung for generations, the music we sing is primarily contemporary worship choruses. While we may sing a hymn from time to time, we value the fresh expression of worship that is found in many of the modern songs of worship. Even though we don’t sing many of the songs that you grew up singing in church, we hope that you’ll come to love the new songs that are sung here.
